The Metro Naga Development Council is a perfect example of how local government units can form strategic partnerships as envisaged in the passage of the Local Government Code of 1991. The 15 LGU members of Metro Naga now face more promising prospects for progress due to their sharing of resources and coordinated plan for development.

I encourage prospective investors to consider Metro Naga as an investment site with high potential for growth. The area offers diverse opportunities in agriculture, trade and industry, as well as in the construction of linkages and other infrastructure to spur further development. Billed as the Pristine Investment Alternative, Metro Naga is set to be transformed into a vibrant yet clean and healthy locus of economic activity.

With my administration’s clear policy of spreading economic development in other parts of the country outside Metro Manila, I welcome and support the continued vibrancy of Metro Naga. I salute the entire council for their continued outstanding work, and bid you more power in your concerted efforts to foster progress and prosperity in the area.
